Ice, ice, baby

by admin on January 16, 2007

We had quite the coating of ice on the trees, bushes, and grass yesterday. Some of our maples had branches that almost touched the ground. Power was out for quite a few folks here in southwest Michigan as well due to the ice storm.

I went out and took a few pictures just to try and capture the beauty of the ice coated branches. The pictures really don’t seem to do it justice, but they are kind of neat.

Nice pictures! I can’t believe how beautiful the ice makes everything look.

Ah- only our generation can truly appreciate your post title.
Gave me a good chuckle.
And if I remember right . . . . the name of the performer:
Vanilla Ice.
Ha!
