Dec 4 09: Snowmaking at Boyne Mountain

by admin on December 4, 2009

This looks great! Makes me a bit jealous though as we aren’t getting in on the snow here in southwest Michigan. With the natural snow coming down and the cold temperatures allowing for snow making, it looks like Boyne Mountain will be open for skiing soon.

According to the Boyne Mountain website –

“Let’s all hope the forecasters are correct. They are predicting an additional 1-2 inches today, tonight, and tomorrow each. We will get the lifts turning as soon as possible and we’ll update you again soon! “

There is just something magical and beautiful about that first big snow. Everything is transformed with the blanket of white, kids go crazy, and adults forget how to drive in the snow.

Happy Friday Everybody!
