Vintage 8mm Film of Metro Detroit circa 1954

Someone shot some 8mm film of Detroit in 1954 while driving around. It is amazing to see the vibrant businesses and the huge number of people walking around downtown. Detroit was clearly in its heyday.

Watch for a shot of Briggs Stadium (Tiger Stadium) in the beginning of this film. What a neat peak at how Detroit looked in its glory days.
