Bottom of the 9th, two outs for Tiger Stadium

by Andrew on May 28, 2008

Any group wishing to preserve part of the field and home plate grandstands of Tiger Stadium is running short on time. June 1 is the official deadline for groups/individuals with a plan and, more importantly, money to save a portion of Tiger Stadium.

Visit my Squidoo page on the history and legacy of Tiger Stadium. It includes photos of the original ballpark that stood at “the corner” and the changes it underwent until it became Tiger Stadium. You can also watch video highlights from the last game at The Corner.

Read the article on the upcoming deadline at the Detroit News.
