Just a quick programming note here – we will be closed January 20, 2011 through February 1, 2011. All orders placed by 5pm Wednesday, January 19th will ship on January 20th. Orders placed January 20, 2011 through February 1, 2011 will ship Wednesday, February 2nd.

Currently, we accept phone orders Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Beginning the week of June 28, 2010 we will accept phone orders Monday through Thursday. We’re going to give this a trial run during the summer and see how it goes.

Just as always, you will be able to place online orders 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Also, nothing will change with the shipping of your order – that time frame will remain the same. We will also still respond to email inquiries on Fridays.

In the summer, the majority of our phone orders come Monday through Thursday anyway so that is why we are experimenting with this new schedule. Come Labor Day, we’ll reevaluate it and move forward from there.

Just a quick note to let you know that we will be closed on Friday April 2, 2010 in observance of Good Friday. Also, our store will be closed April 7th & 8th. Online orders placed on these days will ship on the next business day that we are open.

Just an update on shipping and inventory of our gift baskets. As of 5:50 this evening (December 15, 2009) we are sold out of all of our gift baskets and boxes. We will be closed December 21 through January 4, 2010. We will begin shipping baskets again on January 5, 2010.

With Michigan’s economy the way it is these days we are shocked that we ran out of products, but are very thankful for the plethora of orders. We will ship the last of the orders by Friday, December 18th.

We spent a wonderful week traveling around the great state of Michigan. I have a ton of pictures to share from different places around Michigan as well as some of our favorite stops. I just finished up the shipments for tomorrow (thank you, thank you for the orders!) so I’ll tackle a blog post detailing our adventures tomorrow.

We’re back to shipping all orders within 48 hours of purchase and everything that was ordered while we were closed for a week is being shipped tomorrow.

It was sure fun to see so much of our state, but it is great to be home, too.

Well, you’re probably asking yourself, “What is twitter and why should I follow you?” Twitter is like a blog only instead of unlimited characters (you know, letters, spaces and numbers ) you are limited to 140 characters. It’s been described as micro-blogging.

I’ve been using it for brief updates on uploaded photos to the All Things Michigan photostream at flickr.com, new gift baskets, Squidoo pages, Michigan travel locales/deals, and many other “brief” items. Sometimes it is just to shout out that there is a new blog post here at All Things Michigan for those of you that have not subscribed.

Just a quick note – we’re closed tomorrow, July 4th in observation of the 4th of July. Our online store is always open (of course ) so feel free to place any orders through our web store and they will ship out Monday, July 7th.

Also, any orders placed today that ship via Priority Mail will not ship until Saturday, July 5th as there will not be any mail service in observation of the 4th of July holiday.
