I then remembered seeing BCBS (Blue Cross Blue Shield) of Michigan ads prominently displayed at MichiganIsAmazing.com. [...]
MichiganIsAmazing.com shuttered their virtual doors on January 31, 2008. While not one of my daily visits (I caught up with the site once a week or so) it was an interesting site that tried to get Michigan residents to use stories, photos, and comments to tell their version of why Michigan is amazing.

So far only the lower peninsula of Michigan has indoor water parks attached to hotels. Although, they are getting closer to the U.P. with one opening in Mackinaw City later this year. [...]
New book available on history of Mackinac Point Lighthouse

The book covers the lighthouse from its construction to its decommission in 1957 when it was made obsolete by the lights of the Mackinac Bridge.
