Gas prices across Michigan have increased $.07 from last week up to $2.241. There was a local gas price war around the area last week with prices hovering around $2.97 for most of last week. Of course, it didn’t last long and now everyone is charging around $2.21 here in southwest Michigan.

Just last month Michigan gas prices were at $2.189 so we have not had too dramatic of a price increase. One year ago folks in Michigan were paying $2.41 per gallon. So, it could always be worse.
